Temp decrease with the MX4?

My PC specs; Processor: Intel i5 2500K @4.6GHz, Graphics card: Sapphire AMD R9 Nano 4GB DD Overclocked @1050MHz Core and 550 MHz Memory. Soooooooo... Got a used 4670k but I couldn't find any of my 3 tubes of thermal paste...

 

Colgate to the rescue.

 

Ran at around 50c, however I replaced it the day after with some MX4.

 

It worked surprisingly well.

Did the computer smell like mint? (Or whatever toothpaste flavor you choose?)

Colgate to the rescue.

 

Ran at around 50c, however I replaced it the day after with some MX4.

 

It worked surprisingly well.

Toothpaste actually works well for 24 hours or so; it dries up fast.

Yes it does work but not as good as real TIM.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.
