Update on this...

 

I may have lied when I said I replaced the toothpaste with MX-4 as I thought I'd get a lot of shit from the members here if I didn't.

 

I also may have ran this 24 hours a day, 7 days a week since posting this thread... and it's still going strong!

 

The fan does fluctuate a lot, but it's never shut down due to overheating.

 

I'll be replacing it in the next few weeks, so I'll put up some photos of the aftermath.
