I really love my Aimo its so beautiful and easy to clean compared to corsair, the switches are super light and fast, i dont know why they hate on it i use it more than a year. I did review about both of the keyboards in my channel and people favorize it because its easy to maintain.

It’s easy to clean between switches
on corsair if i want nice cleaning i have to remove them and then put them back.

I still love corsair but its headache to clean .

So aside from the keyboards that were the family computers ones I had some.  First one I typed on came with the tandy 1000 ... wish I still had it.

1050935038_tandy1000.jpg.12737b496305387f8ac11cd91bb6202e.jpg

First one I bought is an old compaq I got for 2$ in a used bin.  I wanted a keyboard with removable keycaps to try out dvorak in linux.  Never did that but I'm still happy to have it.  It's a membrane and I kinda like to type on it.

20200406_152821.thumb.jpg.4b68cc1482c61318f05dda89961a172d.jpg

After that I discovered the mechanical keyboards and I decided to get a lexma one from a friend.  It had outemu boxed blue and was ok to type on.

155811122_LexmaK900.jpeg.a9bdbbff31c198a616370fb468697428.jpeg

After that I switched to one that I tought would be better, a used razer blackwiddow stealth 2013 with mx brown switches.  Those switches were supposed to be tactile but it was quite hard to find the tactile bump in them.

razer-bws2013.png.1f7959e21ed046015cbf1306dbd3e01d.png

All of those keyboards were quite big and with my corner desk setup not really ideal.  I decided to get my first tkl board and since I don't have much money I had to settle for the 40$ redragon k552 with outemu blue.  The keycaps feels horrible so I bought a double shot pbt set ... way better.  Sadly the keboard is really noisy, even more than the lexma with blue switches.  Righ now I'm in the process of modding it so it can be bearable.  Lucky me it has removable switches and I'm currently looking at all the options from gateron and cherry.  I've read comments that kailh don't quite fit as the pins are a bit larger and need modifications ... wondering if I'm willing to modify 87 kailh speed copper switches or not.

So strangely enough my favorite board for the look is the redragon with the pbt keycaps but my favorite board to type on is the compaq board.  Why is that ... first the sound ... quiet ... second I think it's got something about the keycaps profile.  I've ordered a dsa set to see if I like typing with that better on the redragon.

That's about it for now.  I wish I could buy something high end like a leopold or a durgod, but for now I'll just try to do with what I have.

Outemu hot swap sockets are only really compatible with Outemu switches, because they are so tight. You could consider the various Outemu Sky and Ice switches, which are supposed to be decent.
