I'm actually not sure... Someone has said the RAM requirements of Iber already but its 0536 here and I haven't been to sleep yet so my brain is failing me...

From what I've been reading I was under the impression that you needed 8G per GPU, that's why I was bunking Javelin.

Maybe just throw one GPU at it then. Tell BOINC to use like 95% of your RAM, that should do it!

Yeah, for some reason thought we had another day after this one!!!

Rosetta is really RAM intensive on it's own. Of my 16GB, 70% has already been consumed by 12 Rosetta tasks and a single NumberFields one(250MB). I doubt I'll have enough RAM to give 8GB up to Iber GPU.

The biggest pain with these marathon tasks is just the time. Like 6-8 hours each is a lot

You can go to your Rosetta preferences and change the length of WU you get. Some have reported it didn't work, but worth a shot.

As much as I like the idea of picking up 2nd hand Intel Xeon E5-4650v2's. The used market isn't asking for a linear price in comparison to it's little sister the E5-4650. About 40~50% the asking price. Don't think the density is worth doubling the price when that could buy a second server.

The 2 extra cores causes a big base clock drop anyway, probably equiv performance for most things.
