Posted February 18, 2014 Author as promised some initial impressions and photos. pretty well-packed. arrived unblemished and unscarred. ripped the case apart to reveal some unknowns from reviews and tossed my RIVE to find out if this will accept E-ATX and it will, just have to remove the corner cable grommets. if you don't it bends the board on the outer mounting locations. removing the grommets allowed the board to sit flat. to guard the PCB, i would suggest electrical tape to be place along the metallic area to guard against possible short circuit. using the Thermaltake Water Extreme 2.0 (38mm thick radiator) and a 25mm thick fan and you'll see there is clearance to operate with some spare. now be known, not all RAM/'sink locations are the same, so you'll prolly have to test fit your H105 and Tt WE 2.0 to verify fitment with different chipsets and CPU platforms. mounting the hoses towards the rear does restrict the rear i/o fan (careful to notice this). may have to have the hose enter/exit towards front. the fan is mounted in the lowest position. location of the 8-pin CPU power on this should be not a problem since the limited thickness doesn't encroach on the motherboard obstructions. here are the common 8-pin positions of recent motherboards. mostly all platforms except some AMD with the 8-pin located off the top edge (in my experiences). you can see the corner of the 120mm fan just above and to the left of the PS2 port. interesting note, taken from the Corsair 750D as of late, the center mobo stand-off is a locating dowel. can be substituted for a normal stand-off (included with screw kit), but does locate the board to the correct placement. some request of what the PSU shroud without the SSD trays mounted for review. PSU shroud is held in by three rivets along the motherboard tray, three along the rear i/o and three underneath the bottom tray. UPDATE 18-02-14 ok, here is the 360 radiator feelings, *pout* not what i was expecting. i was pretty much thinking from some reviewers that 2x 360 could be used in this case. mmm, nope. a couple of items impede this decision. the top radiator with a fan has a limitation of 40mm maximum plus a 25mm fan thickness and you've run out of real estate on the motherboard, 'sinks and front radiator support. shrink the roof radiator to 30mm plus 25mm for fan and the front radiator just can fit (using a XSPC RX360), but the front fan location on the roof radiator is blocked by 70%. so in true reality, this case can support up to a 360x 40 radiator in the roof or 360x 80 in the front intake, or 360 front 240x 40 in the roof, or 360 front 280x 40 in the roof, 360x 40 in the roof and 240x 80 front. tried to put the 280 in the front with a 360 in the roof and you run into interference and blockage issues . so top radiator fittings in the front or the rear? front, due to the cutout for the front i/o USB 2.0/3.0, positioning the fittings forward and mounting the fans (typical push) the fitting tanks interferes with the switch and switch harness. to work around this limitation, mounting the fans in between the roof mount and radiator will allow the fitting tank to clear the USB cables with room to spare. pro remark for this mounting is maintenance for cleaning the radiator will be easier. con, no NB ELoop fans on this configuration. rear fitting mount like the AIO, the rear fan will be a PITA, even in its lowest position. with the radiator in this position, the fans can be mounted in between the roof and radiator of in typical push config. hose routing could be dicey, along the fan/mobo layout. I want to use this case in my build and kinda want to see how the white case fits in with the red/black mobo. Sorry that this is kinda off topic I just saw an opportunity and went for it. The year is 20XX. Everyone plays Fox at TAS levels of perfection. Because of this, the winner of a match depends solely on port priority. The RPS metagame has evolved to ridiculous levels due to it being the only remaining factor to decide matches. Only Abate, Axe, and Wobbles can save us. Sorry that this is kinda off topic I just saw an opportunity and went for it. i will in a build log, but right now finding out the ins and outs of what this case can handle/do. the modding possibilities are there and what can actually be done with this case is only limited to your mind and resources. the white will accent the internals and with white soft LEDs it'd be a great build for dark lights-out running. the black/red will be too, but so dark, the LEDs will have to be bright and washout the internals (look like it is bleached). looking to what the plastic bits are and how they can be painted, more on that later. Posted February 18, 2014 I want one of these cases, they look sick. My only concern is GPU cooling, with a non reference coolder like the Windforce that vents all the hot air into the case and not out the back, does the lack of side intakes cause the cards to get warmer. Currently getting a max temp of 73c on my Gigabyte GTX780ti. Other than that, the Kraken x60 would fit so perfectly in this case over the Corsair Carbine 500R. Posted February 18, 2014 What is the point of this? Sorry to sound like a dick feel free to delete my post ^^I have to agree, why must there be an "Owners Club" for everything? it's a bit daft especially for a case. See em on quite a few forums at the 150 page+ length - they're good sources of inspiration for building & modding + seeing what you can do. Posted February 18, 2014 My H440 is en route to my home right now, unfortunately I work nights so I will be asleep when Fed Ex comes. Would yall recommend Using High Static pressure fans on for the front intake? My plan is to use 3 noctua 120mm nf -f12 in front fans and then 2 noctua nf-s12 in a push pull using velcro at the edge of the drive cage section. Also considered installing my x60 which I use for my CPU cooler in the front (intake). Any thoughts?
 Posted February 18, 2014 I might get this case, but I dont want to watercool yet. Would getting rid of the front pannel imporve airflow by a lot or what is your go about this?

Not sure why you would remove the front panel, but yes it would improve airflow but ruin the entire point of the case
 I have 3 3.5" hard drives and 1 SSD, but I could roll the 3 into 2 anyway. Would probably look at sticking a Kraken G10 with a Corsair H90 on the Video card at the same time, that way all the cool air is coming from the front and is split between the 2 RAD's Just the lack of VRM cooling using a G10 puts me off, and I don't want to glue heatsinks onto a 2 month old card. I might get this case, but I dont want to watercool yet. Would getting rid of the front pannel imporve airflow by a lot or what is your go about this? Removing the front panel could be a way, but if you remove the sound damping foam from the front panel, this will give you a little more space for the air to move. Or you could do a little case modding and cut a rectangle out of the front and stick in some white/black meshing and filter. You'd have a one of a kind H440 then. Posted February 19, 2014 Well cable management was darn near impossible. I sliced one of the cable when trying to route the SATA. I was pretty spoiled with my Corsair 540. Overall, I am pretty happy about it. ~~~~~ EDIT (8 MONTHS LATER) ~~~~~ I guess having a big boy job helped me get some hardware upgrades: CPU - Intel Core i7-4790K Motherboard - ASUS Saberthooth Z97 Mark1 RAM - Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB @ 2133MHZ GPU - 2 X EVGA GTX 780 Classifieds (SLI) Case - White NZXT H440 Storage - Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB / Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB PSU - Corsair AX850 Cooling - 3 X Noctua NF-A14 FLX & 3 X NF-F12 PWM / NZXT Kraken X60 Sound Card - Asus Xonar STX Wireless - card TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 Dual Band Wireless N900 Night money shot: CPU Intel Core i7-4790K Motherboard ASUS Saberthooth Z97 Mark1 RAM Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB @ 2133MHZ GPU 2 X MSI GeForce GTX GTX 980TI GAMING 6G SLI Case Phantex Enthoo Evolv ATX Storage Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB / Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB PSU Corsair RM1000i Display Asus 4K PB287Q Cooling Noctua NF-A14 FLX & NF-F12 PWM /Thermaltake Water 3.0 Ultimate 360mm Keyboard Corsair K70 Mouse ROCCAT Kone XTD Sound Card Asus Xonar STX
 Posted February 20, 2014 Sweet build, looks nice. How are you temps inside the case? Compared to the Corsair 540 air, the GPU idles about 3c at 32c higher and CPU idles about a couple degrees higher at 33c. I haven't tried playing BF4 in this case yet; been pretty busy. It has gotten warmer these past couple of days, so that may be a factor. Posted February 20, 2014 Took the day off just so I could be here when this beast arrived. Here is a couple of pics for now, I have to go run some arons really quick, when I get back I will upload more pics of the case. Ok Im back Finished for the most part besides just sleeving the 2 8-pin PCI-E cables, which I will finish sometime over the weekend . I built this PC for my 5 year old daughter and the next thing Im going to do with it, is take all the black on the H440 and paint it Pink. This case is extremly clean and if it were much much bigger I would definitely buy it for my own build, other then the case being too small for my own personal gain it is a great case and looks unbelievably beautiful.
