Folding@Home not downloading

My Folding@Home client wont let me fold because it is trying to download "WS Assignment". It cant download though and is stuck in an infinite retry loop. Any way to fix this?

 

EDIT: I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and have the same issue

 

UPDATE: Now my CPU is folding but GPU is still trying, weird considering GPU was folding earlier and CPU wasnt

Lots of influx from ppl trying to Fold all of a sudden, im guessing their servers must be overloaded somewhat.

I mean im waiting for over an hour now for my passkey.

I've been having this issue on and off since last night so you're not alone. Someone elsewhere on the forums mentioned something about the servers struggling to serve work units out with all the extra hardware suddenly brought online

Well thats how overcapacity works, some get in some dont.

it's going to be on a work unit by work unit basis I think, the cpu based ones weren't giving me as much trouble but still got stuck on more than one computer

I know how overcapacity works, I'm just saying that it might probably start going up for more people now, as it's been down for me since yesterday up until a couple minutes before I replied.

We've been overwhelmed with the support we're getting from new Donors. 

Several servers ran out of WU's overnight. The issue is being addressed as fast as the project's owner can get to it. Unfortunately the server(s) may have to be taken off-line while the new WUs are being generated.

Yeah mine gets stuck sometimes, i get it to work by stoping the folding and starting it again i have some better luck. Mine actually its working 11763 on gpu and 14328 Both corona related

I would be surprised if this dosent get news coverage as well, my pc has been running since 7am GMT (now 5pm GMT) and has only been able to get 2 WUs and is working on a 3rd one

With many high end gaming pcs put to work, its only obvious they'll run out of WUs, lol.

My rig is an i9 9900k (OC) and an MSI RTX 2080ti Gaming X Trio (OC), and then some

I'm glad F@H exists, so that i can put it to use in something beneficial other than gaming.
