Do you have an EU & other region switch?

Switch is region free.  So it’s no big deal in that aspect, I’m still glad to get the game.

4 hours ago, The1Dickens said:

I recall reading somewhere that the Switch doesn't have region locking for the games. Probably just happened to grab the game from the EU on travels or received as a gift from someone from EU.

As for what I got for Christmas, basic supplies (socks, candy, shampoo/conditioner, a shirt). And my brother is making dinner tonight, so that, too.

actually no, my parents made me give them a Christmas list, so I threw up Luigi’s Mansion since I’ve been wanting it.  They ordered it on Amazon, but for some reason Amazon US sent the European copy.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

Incense Holder and Incense

Warm looking socks

some kinda pen and notepad pack

I also got a tool set with a bunch of different bolt sizes and screw sizes and types. unfortunately no torx set, I might run over to harbor freight and pick up a torx set because inexplicably my license plate stuff is held in with torx screws.

I got a Duluth sweater and hoodie, some new house shoes, a Neiko underhood LED work light, a set of Tekton metric ratcheting wrenches, and two sets of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers (parents accidentally ordered two and just said screw it). Also got a bit of money and some candy. I'd say I got out alright.

Bought myself a couple of early Christmas presents. Got a OnePlus 7 Pro and a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50x BT headphones a couple of weeks ago. I'm also waiting for another sort of present to come in Monday. My PC's motherboard has started getting real derpy, so I've ordered another board. If I use custom fan curves, it won't boot most of the time and the BIOS resets itself. If I use any of the built-in fan profiles, it starts fine. Weird.

Yep. She was reading off the package as she didn’t know what it was at first. Then she figured it out, felt that opening the products box in front of the kids was not a good idea. My other sister got Lube. At least it was a memorable Christmas.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Interesting type of presents to give, especially considering that everyone must have known that kids will be around.

I got clothes, a nice orchid, a photo album. I also bought myself a present: Age of Empires Definitive Edition and Age of Empires II Definitve Edition, got a nice bundle deal on steam,

Also got an amazing "ight imma head out" shirt from my parents, lol. Actually fucking love it. Very comfy, fits great, and will hopefully get a laugh (or eyeroll) from my friends.

This was my last christmas before I move out (not that I am not coming back down here for holidays), so my folks spoiled me more than usual. I gave them a list, and as per usual it came with the stipulation of "I don't expect everything on it, that's a lot of money". The reason I give a list of what I want rather than what I hope for is because if I chose I would never be happy with my choice (anxious of "did I pick wrong/pick too much") even if it was the same as what my folks picked, don't try to rationalize that thought process because I can't myself. List was fairly short:

Airpods Pro

Apple Watch

3D Printer

1440p 144Hz Monitor

New Macbook Pro

Got 3/5, the Airpods Pro. Apple Watch. and Monitor, but also a whole bunch of other stuff, including but not limited to:

A couple switch games, collapsible stainless steel straw, vintage Stirling silver necklace and bracelet, Sterling silver ring with a peridot stone (my birthstone), Roku (was complaining about the clunkyness of using my XB1 for netflix), hotsauce, and whole bunch of new shirts and pants because I grew out of most of mine.

This was a very good christmas, the best I've had in a while. Past have always been meddled by family that can't get along with the rest of the family.

Unrelated, but I am also getting a 1993 Jeep Wrangler tomorrow. Not a gift, but excited nonetheless.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)
