Hey guys.

I bought a RTX 2060 and i want to known if my psu is good.

I have intel core i5-9600K, MB MSI Tomahawk z390, SSD M.2, 2 x 8 GB RAM 3000 mhz

 

My psu is EVGA 500 W1, 80+ WHITE 500W, 3 Year Warranty, Power Supply 100-W1-0500-KR

Good for anything but a PSU. In other words, it's bad

Corsair cx 550w is a lot better for minor impact on price

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)

you still have a pretty old version there dude... 4.0 is already out and pinned here

 

the main problem with the w1 is it being group regulated. i wrote some info on why this is a problem here, if you're curious. what you need to know here for now, is that it can drastically shorten lifespan
