Never received copy of modern warfare

Bought a 2060 super from Best buy and never received a copy of it.

To be honest I don't see that as a bad thing, I've heard MW is really buggy...

Did you properly submit whatever information was required to obtain the copy?

It might be a code in the GPU box if it was offered by Nvidia. If it was a Best Buy deal than a code/instructions could be on the reciept or in an email they sent you.

Could be in the box, in the documentation you've discarded.

Could be on your receipt. They usually ask for your email these days to send it to you.

Sounds like a problem on his end, the 5 people I play with and myself have no issues like that

It's got technical problems, yes.  The game is a solid FPS and pulls off cross-platform very well.  The rebooted story was gorgeous and well executed.

He's tried everything. When he bought it, it would crash on start-up (to desktop without any errors). Last Tuesday the game got an update and it worked, then on Wednesday it got further update and now crashes again. There seems to be a severe memory leak and other people are experiencing the same problems.

Best to look at the promo and see who was actually running it and look at the details. Should say somewhere where you need to fill stuff out.

Right. They'd probably have to go to Nvidia's site then. I'm just used to AMD being the one doing the giveaways.

OP, if you ordered it online then Best Buy should have sent you instructions on how to redeem the game via Nvidia Experience. If it was purchased in-store then double check your receipt for instructions on redeeming your game. If you haven’t received your instructions then contact Best Buy’s customer service.

i haven't had this problem.

My only problem is the fact that it feels like downloading shaders every time i open the game.

they have a promo and if you want your key you have to register on the promo homepage with the details they ask for and wait for them to send you the key.

yeah thats what happens when you quote something by highliting it, within a quote that has two quotes in it

normally i get the promotional codes by email.

 

It´s not a bad game, i am a BF guy, but i like the 2v2 gunplay and played a bit of capture the base..

 

the only bug i have seen, is the game want to install shaders, EVERY SINGLE START.
