Why the frack would you spend $100 on basic shaving goods!? You could have just bought a decent razor for $10 at the store and shaving cream for another $3. Or get the Dollar Shave Club starter set for $5.

I've been using a double-edge setup for years, your list is pretty good. Feather blades are very sharp, actually they may be a little too sharp for your first attempt coming from an electric. I would recommend Dorco ST301 for a good first blade, they're not crazy sharp but they last a long time. Derby Extra are good to start with too.

My Current Setup:

AMD Ryzen 5900X

Kingston HyperX Fury 3200mhz 2x16GB

MSI B450 Gaming Plus

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

EVGA RTX 3060 Ti XC

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

WD 5400RPM 2TB

EVGA G3 750W

Corsair Carbide 300R

Arctic Fans 140mm x4 120mm x 1

If you want to be all bourgie you can get the complete setup.

Or you can just get a <$20 starter kit from someone like Dorco (https://www.dorcousa.com/dorco-prime-starter-set-on-sale-16-25-35-off/) and call it a day.

Just get a grocery store three-blader with a lubricated edge, then use a sensitive skin shaving cream. You might also try blade oil and regular cleaning on your electric razor. I have sensitive skin as well, but use a Braun 5 series with the cleaning station. It gets cleaned every time I shave, and oiled once a week. As long as I take my time, my skin remains intact and it gets just about everything.

But, yeah, the knockoff three-blader and good cream will do it.

I have these:

Electric razor - for the quick shave that reduces the appearance of facial hair, since I'm not very thorough with this, and it tends to itch up my skin.

Cartridge razor - also not as time consuming, but these are pretty decent and gets the job done, using Dollar Shave Club's. Although I have discontinued the subscription, I still have a good amount of cartridges to go.

Safety razor - got them last year on Black Friday. Blades are extremely inexpensive compared to cartridges. It does require more time and learning. The fact that you don't need to apply as much pressure as with a cartridge razor, makes it feel like a delicate form of  art.

also, a styptic pencil can help the bleeding stop.

It doesn't suit me electric.

That statement also varies drastically depending on your hair type.

With safety razors there's a significantly higher chance of cutting yourself. So. Not an uncommon thought.

You get a much, much better shave with a safety razor.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

You'd think they'd call it an unsafety razor...

All the same, the veins that can KO you if hit are way, way below the skin. You're not getting there with a trimmer, period, and you'd have to be trying to get to them with an unsafety razor.

Well, before the safety razor they only had the straight razor. I'm sure you can see why they're considered safer in comparison.

I havent had a razor touch my face in like 3 years. Fuck it, grow a beard. Its a lot eaiser to deal with. On a side note, when food falls in, you have something to eat later (LOL).

But in all serrousness. When I did shave, I just used the shit you buy at Walmart. My dad uses the Harry branded razors, he seems to like them. Dollar shave club might be another option. My boss said some good things about them.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

I used to shave with a shaving cream for years. Then this one time I forgot to buy cream, but needed to shave. So I thought "screw it" and did it with just soap.

Zero difference. The only thing that ever made a difference when shaving for me was how sharp the actual razor was.

Ive been using those razors for over a decade now and I love them.

I do recommend people do test shaves on there arm, or upper leg, etc so you get a feel for it.

Its very easy to get an amazing smooth shave with them. but its also easy as hell to cut your face to hell.

But its worth learning. Will save you time and money. I see alot of guys complain about spending so much on blades and i feel great being able to say i bought my handle for like $20 and its lasted a decade and i can get 50 blades for less then $10.
