Smallest Desktop VR setup

I do tradeshows for a software company that now includes the super spec hungry Varjo VR system.  I need a portable rig I can ship or carry with a RTX 2080.  I'd like it to be as small as possible but with good all day thermals for my many hours on the showfloor.  Looking at the Legion mini game cube but maybe something custom? Laptops seem not to work well especially with the need for 2 full size Displayports for the Varjo. Tried adapters not ideal stability so far.

If you're okay with building a small ITX system, depending on the RTX card (a true two slot) you can get something like the Fractal Design Node 202 or Silverstone ML08. If you're looking at the thicker 2.5, 2.75 or 3 slot cards for best GPU cooling, your best bet is the Lian Li TU150 Black Silver.

Depending on your budget the Kimera Cerberus is another option. About the same size as the TU150, but significantly better cooling options and an mATX board compatible layout instead of being stuck with ITX.

The setup I currently have is highly focused on minimalism, high performance, and VR. Very similar to what you're looking for, so I'm just going to give you a rundown of everything I have. The case I use is the ncase m1 sporting an rtx 2080 ti. The ncase m1 is in a great spot because it's really getting into the small form factor class while sacrificing as little as possible, especially cooling. It's only in stock for limited times and they sell out immediately, but they have a healthy used market so there are usually a couple floating around /r/hardwareswap. I got black and it's a fingerprint magnet, would recommend silver.

This is a full blown setup in a single shoulder bag, so that leaves room for a backpack to carry the VR. I've used this setup to demo VR multiple times, even at someone else's desk in a cramped cubicle. Everything takes up such little room that all I needed was a small corner of it.
