So it had to happen eventually, The Dubai police have a Bugatti Veyron. Their old flagship supercar used to be the One-77, now I believe they sold that and obviously got the Veyron.

 

Here's a video of the DPD showing of the new car:

Neat. I hope they actually know how to drive it fast without going boom-boom. (Plus the fact that they would run out of gas in long chases.)

I thought it used to look good, now I'm bored with the way it looks. If I was in the market for a car worth $1-3 million, it would have to be a Koenigsegg Agera or an SSC Tuatara.

Well it is the worlds fastest production car, and it is an engineering marvel.

To some extent it is a great engineering marvel, thing is though thats the only reason why people think its the best car ever. Its fast, but it doesn't do much else. People who don't know much about cars probably know Ferrari and Bugatti Veyron. Not much else and some even call themselves car fans. Anyway thats enough of that, its a nice car but no way as people make it out to be.

 

What I noticed was they had a One-77! One of the rarest cars there is (77 hence the name) and they use it as a police car.... Dubai/UAE just have too much money, trust me I've been there. Most of the skyscrapers they have are almost completely empty. Its just sad.

One of those stupid waste of money things. They could have bought a Ferrari for a lot cheaper.

They could of bought another GTR with an AMS Performance package, which is about $200-300 thousand USD, and have a car that is just as fast as a veyron.

We all know this car will catch anything. So the question is, what happens once they catch it? Are they willing to total that supercar to spin someone out? I think not. Its a PR stunt more than anything
