On the way south to put up my grandparents shutters from now. So many trucks with industrial generators and gas. Everyone is on a mission average speed on the highway is 85 and people are passing us.

 
Stay safe in your preparations does not make sense to prepare for a storm if your not around for it.

I have accordion shutters so it only takes 10 minutes to seal up.

I will be reading WarHammer 40,000 books if the lights go out.

I live down in Homestead FL. I hired a company to put up shutters at my house, my mom's, my dad's, and my mother and father in-laws house. I usually do it by myself but I'm not home right now. I'm sitting in Atlanta Georgia getting repairs done to my truck and wait for the storm to pass so I can deliver in Jacksonville FL.

Last I heard the storm won’t directly hit Florida.  It will stay offshore.  Of course, there still are the outer bands which will bring torrential rain and wind alone.

I just did some basic recharging on like 6 portable batterys, filled up some water containers and stocked up on chef boyardee, I should be fine. Now the hurricane probaly wont even hit my area. (West coast of florida) But I wish y'all a safe week!
