Probably not anymore, but I can't find concrete proof of that.

So he likely is not in this position anymore, but I do have to say.. The wording in the above quote is kind of weird..

 

Some more weird stuff is Zelnick's Twitter account is closed and when you want to visit his linked website, it gives me a Chrome privacy/sketchy website warning..

 

Conclusion: He might still be the chairman.. They rotate every two years apparently, but who's to say that is:

a. true

b. they didn't just elect him again

c. he still has other influence..

Basically, they give zero shit. To them this clear and obvious gambling shit is just your run of the mill "in-game purchase" and it isn't wrong in any way for the game to be rated E for everyone. Even though the "in-game purchases" are literally styled like the stuff you'd find in a casino. Gotta hook 'em young eh.

Now that the video is private I probably can't bring it up to PEGI anymore either.

 

Since a trailer is so important to a game nowadays, I think it totally should be included in the rating decision.

 

If this gambling garbage won't kill the trust in the gaming industry in the next 5 to 10 years, I don't know what will..

Don't forget there is also console gamers out there. And they are the reasone we PC gamers have to suffer broken games cus they consolers dont care. They just spend spend and spend. So manufacterers dont give a shit either...
