Forks are the easiest. Chopsticks are a good alternative if you have class or don't want to be looked down on by some Asians.

 

That said, a lot of Asians love white people who can use chopsticks.

With a fork, you're the iliterate european who tries to eat asian noodles.

With chopsticks, you're just slurping your noodles and eat them the way they should be

I use a fork because I'm not patient enough to use chop sticks (not that I dont know how to use them)
My wife is Chinese, and she doesn't know how to use chop sticks and she uses a spoon. 
Some times I rub it in and use chop sticks and tell her it's opposite day.

i heard the "proper" way is to use a fork and spoon and wrap the noodles around the fork in the spoon

Why would you eat noodles with anything other than a fork.

There's literally no advantage to eat your noodles with chopsticks. You don't eat faster with them compared to a fork, you don't get more sauce/soup with them, it's easier to mess up even if you're used to them, etc etc.

Chopsticks are, quite frankly, in the same categories as Sporks. A novelty item people outside of Asia think is "high class" when you're really just holding two God damn sticks.

not true. chopsticks are more of a clamp than a fork, we put force to the gripping action for much more flexibility.

eg you can grap whole bowl of noodle with chopsticks but not with a fork

Noodles are one of my favorite food items. I always used to eat it with fog spoon. I think eating noddles with fog is the best to enjoy it.
