So I just went to watch a RoosterTeeth video and instead of an ad I got a YouTube Survey.  The question was "Where does your dog sleep?" and it was multiple choice... Gave me 10s to answer then as soon as I answered the video started.  Weird Ive never seen this before.  It looked legit too and didnt redirect me to another page.

I've gotten these on Hulu, I just pick the answer closest to my mouse.

Agreed. Sometimes you get a 30s ad with no option to skip.  This takes 2s.

There are thousands of Adblock users... while people keep using it, it's going to keep being a problem. If you want to be a bad guy, then ok.

But dude, Linus and Slick make their living from these ad's. Just turn it off for them, and all other youtubers who make their living. If you respect them, just view a 5s every so often.

It's still a mystery whether he needs to eat or not. But he did said "it's good to have a roof" once so I assume he's only working to shelter himself from the harsh Canadian weather. 

 

I actually prefer these surveys better. Good way to conduct surverys and get feedbacks, doesn't take as much time from me because I don't wanna watch a 15s unskippable ad that isn't even good or repeated so many times.

I havent ever seen those but Hulu has been doing stuff like this for quite a while. I dont mind it when it works well, but sometimes it gliches and i have to refresh the page and wait for a new ad to load. Hopefully google is better about it.
