I don't believe it. Going to have to show me a lot more than a photo that probably took them 3 months to make for me to believe the game will look like that.

Sky Pollution | i5 3570k @4.8Ghz | MSi z77a g45 | MSi GTX 770 Gaming 2gb | Samsung 840 Evo 250gb, Samsung OEM 500gb HDD | Corsair CX750m | Corsair 760t White Edition |
Corsair M95 | SuperLux 668b's | Logitech C615 | ViewSonic VX2250wm | Random OEM keyboard until I rage break it and grab another random OEM keyboard from my pile.

There's no way. This has either been doctored up or is rendered. Definitely not within the game engine.

Obviously but if it is anything like that then it's gonna be great. This+ Oculous @4k.

If it's cinematic footage, who cares.

A screenshot doesn't say much and how does technology in a game..? make hardware better?

It's definitely a render IMO. If you look at the blood pool and the thing in the reflection of the window, that's almost a dead giveaway.

Until there is actual in game footage, It's like every other game that has a trailer with pretty graphics that is not rendered in game.

I can maybe see the consoles running this IF it's just the room with no characters, etc. moving around... yeah, just the room itself with the lighting. Hell, there's not a PC game with anywhere near this amount of detail. Well, that is until legitimate 4k games really start developing... which I cannot wait for.

This "graphics demo" has already been posted a few times. It uses real 3D scans of places and puts them in a 3D world.

But now it can also run on consoles...Yaaay efficient coding.

I personally think that looks more like concept art than even a pre-rendered scene.

... But then I go to the source and see a "flythrough video". Still probably not in-engine or at least not realtime.

could be true, I would believe it, why you ask? well let me explain.

In that shot/video you can see that only one room is being shown which means that allot more processing power can be put into one small region but think of it like this. If you have a room at that graphics 10 times bigger then you'd allot more power so since they focused only on 1 small region this means that all the processing power is being used for only that small region and doesn't need to worry about the outside of the room.

So in theory this could be true because all the power is being used to render only 1 small region where as if you'd multiply the room by 10 times then you'd need allot more power which means that either you're going to need better system or graphics need to be put down.

Pre-rendered cutscenes have no real relation to real graphics quality. No game on a console will ever look like that in gameplay

Not sure about that video, but from what I've seen and looked into while I was dabbling with 3D moddeling you can create the illusion of a highly detailed scene with some really good textures and a good engine/lighting. Also, when I say "good textures", I don't just mean hi-res. There are so many little tricks you can do to make modles look nicer than they really are.

What's really impressive, if this is real, is the lighting.

This will never be on consoles, I don't even think we'll be on this level on pcs for a few years (unless you have 4 780tis)

They delayed the game so many times to make it better.

Snowdrop engine and the graphics they showed on the demo. Mmmmm so good

Selling my parts of my 900D rig for a jacked up Ncase M1. PM me for offers if interested (will take some reasonable-low offers because I'm desperate).

Definitely true, if you've played halo 4, there's some serious texture trickery in that game. It's pretty impressive for something running on 8 year old hardware.
