The bit hanging down has a velcro strap attached/... make a little bundle of the extra cable there, and then use the vecro to bind it together.

i do nothing with it really, it goes to my wire sorting thing hanging under my table only to go right the hell back to where it came from to reach my computer.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I don't move it that much that it would be issue. But I have it managed by the monitor stand, with just enough extra that I can move it around the mouse pad.
