You could use it being honest, it's not the best solution by far but it should buy you a couple of months in order to get something better, thinking on the future.

TXM, RMx, G2, Prime... etc.... follow that tier list linked above.

yeah... that isn't going to cut it. if you look up reviews, you'll also see that it's been golden sampled to them

it's not wattage, it's quality, it lacks a couple protections for example

Sorry, SS FPG is probably the most popular of those around my country, and I see it recommended roughly 6-7 times per day. That is why I tend to "go with the crowd". I prefer Whisper M though. I've only listed these, as they have roughly the same price for the same wattage, and all of them is around 100-110USD.

yeah... it isn't the best, it has problems with the OCP which was fixed, but made it not sensetive enough, it doesn't kick in on 125%, which it should

I have a 980ti Overclocked like a mother and on a 280mm cooler with a 1700x Overclocked like a mother to 4ghz on a 360mm cooler and 3 HDD and 14 noctua fans 6 120mm and the rest 140mm since all the rads are push pull in the core x5 by thermaltake and my PSU monitors power draw and under full CPU and gpu synthetic load I pull 600-700 watts so I'd say a 650watt if you don't push the oc and a 750 if you push hard with the fans, rgb and oc

Edit: I got a EVGA 750w supernova g2 for around $100 on Newegg and has been great for 2 years so far and has an eco fan mode for silent operation, to prevent extra dust and save power by not spinning the fan till needed saving the fan bearing and power.

Not great but should be OK for what you have.

No need to replace it right now, IMO.

But how about a Silverstone Strider Platinum??

Are you having problems that you think are power supply related?  Because that PSU is more than enough.

That's a software limit. The GPU has a power limit, and will reduce its boost if it meets it.

You can increase the power target, get a custom overclocking BIOS with the power limit removed, or add a resistor in a specific place on the GPU.

:)
