?????????????

The 3930K literally requires twice more power than the 2600. With the remaining money you should get a better PSU.

The 2700X (highest end CPU) still consumes less than the 3930K lol

The 3930k is worse than the 2600, even in single core where gaming is important.

You can get a 2700 then OC it to 4ghz for about 300$ with the mobo, and it'll perform even better.

if you want to go intel that badly then you could get a first gen i7 for way cheaper, about £10 on ebay.

if you want gaming performance well ryzen has better ipc than sandy bridge E so you need to go ryzen for gaming.

its your money so you can pay more for less if you want, though i dont think brand loyalty is worth spending the money on.

Your opinion is irrelevant, because benchmarks and facts show that Ryzen is better than the Intel processor you've picked.

he don't even need a Tomahawk, a cheaper mobo (Asrock B450 Pro4\B450m Pro4 or MSI B450(M) Gaming Plus, MSI B450m Mortar) will do just fine for mild OC-ing and 3200+Mhz RAMS. ie.: B450 Pro4 looks pretty decent for the price.

I admit, Tomahawk is better, heck, that is one of the best B450 Mobos out there. But lots of fine choices for less money are available

And he can spend the remaining money on a cooler which is quieter than the wraith stealth. :)

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )

A modern i7 hits higher frequencies than Ryzen, but you're not looking at a modern i7.  Unless you're worried about buying RAM then I don't see why you would consider such an old CPU.

But that i7 is what... 6 years old ? It won’t be able to keep up with the ryzen from today’s standard. Sorry to break your bubble.

To be fair that i7 is a 3rd gen , it is really old, ur better off buying something new , a i5 8400,8500, or 9600 , u will have more life out of them, and they are good for gaming, u never know if a 7 year old used mobo can die on u ,

and there is amd , which u dont appear to like :P
