kinda lacking in input.

better at what? floating? poking someone's eye out?

gaming? what resolution and CPU?

light gaming maybe some work, i probably wont be poking someones eyes yet, little gaming yes, 1080p and i5 2500

Without any additional information, probably the RX 560, since you're gonna play anyway at resolutions lower than 1080p, so in such scenario you're not gonna have games use 4 GB of VRAM anyway (though SOME games will complain about it)

My advice would be to buy a used RX 470 or a new RX 570, they're cheap these days and well worth it.

those cards are very expensive and i do not want to spend much for the games i play. AAA games do not attract me in any way or form, they just seem wack to me

Depends what you mean by expensive... you can buy a RX 570 for around 100$ on eBay.... even here in Romania I can buy a new one from the local IT store for 140$ (taxes included and shipping). eBay/Craiglist wannabe local sites have RX 570 cards for 100-120$ ...

Considering a new RX 560 is around 70-80$ but less than half the performance of a RX 570, it's really a poor purchase. It's also a poor resale value.

You didn't mention the prices, you didn't mention where you are located.

You also don't mention if the memory on the cards is GDDR4 or GDDR5 ... GDDR4 cards will be slower than GDDR5 cards , so 2GB GDDR5 would be even more worth it than 4 GB GDDR4 ...

You also don't mention if you need a half-height video card (maybe you have a slim/small form factor desktop), if you have a power supply capable of powering a video card that requires an additional pci-e connector etc etc

What's the price of an nVidia GTX 1050 ... it may be better value than a RX 560 2GB card...

4GB model has more VRAM and it is one of those things where you have enough VRAM until you don't, then it severely affects gameplay. If you want to game at all don't consider the 2GB model.

According to userbenchmark it's like gaming on a 2400g (Vega 11), which really isn't that bad at all. The 2400g can play probably any game at 1080p with low settings.

Back in my day(2009) Graphics cards didn't even have a single gig of VRAM even on the top end models, im op, the rx 560 would probably be a better choice, what games would you be playing?

Then the 560(2GB) would be fine, how much would you be spending and are you open to used graphics cards?

@Emanbaird My first, a x1950 GT has 256... I played IL2 (min spec at the time) and CS:S on it quite well! I upgraded to a 3870 with 512 a couple of years later to improve performance.

There are zero cards (that I know of) produced after around 2008 that used GDDR4. So uh... You may want to go back to the drawing board on this.

My brother has the 550, it's fine for esports games on low settings and 1080p or lower, so i'm sure you could game on a 560 even better, what are you currently rocking op?
