Is there any way if I ask for newegg a discount they'll accept?

BrandBeanie

So a week ago my processor died, and neither amd or the seller from whom I got it of ebay want to replace it. So, now I need a new one. Great. I have 220$ left and I need 250$ for the same processor on newegg (Ryzen 2600)

Is there any way if I ask newegg for a discount they will accept? ffs I can't work because of this

Just get a R5 1600 if you currently can't afford the R5 2600.

So you wanna get a discount because you think you're special? No, that's not how life works and you won't get a discount.

Buy from Amazon who has it for $165?

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07B41WS48

Edit:

I'm looking on Newegg and they have it for the same price. Where are you seeing it for $250?

So wait for a sale and don't curse people out because they give you a genuine answer to your question

Yeah I guess, for a used processor on ebay. And that "so you think youre special" isnt a guenine answer in my opinion. Im just looking to find ways to be able to work again

anyway the 1600 is the better deal, too bad the 8 core 240$ 1800x is out of reach.

Oh it is, big stores are not the place to ask for discounts. Small retail stores maybe

Rude? I'm guessing you have your own personal reasons to believe that asking your folks for help is rude... Plus you say is for work. A legit reason. Not non-profit gaming. I asked my parents $500 to buy a 2080Ti hof days ago. Will pay them back in 2 months. No rudeness involved.

we just didnt grow in the same family.. in some countries people marry children and its perfectly fine for them

Is this thread a joke.

I'm sure there are better uses of charity than someone's $25 short first world problem affair.

How long ago did you buy it on Ebay? How long did you use it?

If you've had it for a few days and it just outright died out of nowhere for no reason, you can file a dispute with ebay/paypal about this.

If you've had it for weeks... well you're SOL on that side.

But seriously, how come no one asked this so far, how did you manage to kill a CPU? It takes some real skills to screw it up (As in, none at all by pushing the overclock too high and killing it like a dum-dum)

And no. There's zero chance that NewEgg is going to give you a discount.
