It was certianly noticable! I had to overclock my GTS 450 to the moon to hold up to modern gaming. The core itself was plenty strong for 1080p Medium in even modern games at the time. The 1GB VRAM was the big issue, and why I finally retired it. I dont remember my exact OC, but the sliders were near maxed in MSI Afterburner. On Air! And temps never went above 78c!

I imagine it was a BMW E30, You got it directly from the dealer, and use it for good along its lifespan only with single owner, then you get yourself like SL65 AMG and put a full respect to the aging former daily driver by park it under nice shades of shadow, you know, right there, somewhere at one of the corner of the garage..

I'd like to think my GTS 450 is still being used well, and serving somebody else as well as it served me. I will always think that, it was my first GPU. This is what it looked like, exact same card.

6% faster, but my main rig is in a SFF chassis, with an i5 2500, and my 1050 is an lp model, whilst my backup rig is in an ATX case with an FX6300 which is much slower in most tasks than a 2500.

I bought my GTX 1080Ti like 3 months after release. Bought it in summer 2017. Damn, it's gonna be 2 years old already this summer. And I wanted to say it's 1 year old lol

Titan V in the mainstream rig technically is almost 1 year old (I bought it in March last year I think, though you could argue that it was released December 2017)

1070 in the TV PC is 10 months old

LOL, no.

 

They are in plastic storage bins, installed in systems that are stacked in a closet, or, in the case of the nice looking HD 2900 XT, displayed on my workbench.

I used the igpu on a A12-9800, it served well for it's price, but of course, it didn't cut it. So i bought a RX 550 4gb (No, don't tell me about the card, prices on my city are weird, 1060 at US$422 kind of weird) a month ago, runs most games at 60+, mostly e-sports games like csgo at 90, ow at 60 on high, rocket league at 60 on max, etc. I am so happy with the card and its well over my standards.

Got an HD 4850, a dead R9 390, an R9 Fury and had a GTX 580 but it vanished. 

 

Currently have a 1080TI that I got in May 2017 and a 2060 sitting in a box as a birthday present for best friend irl. Bought the 2060 a week ago. Was pretty annoyed by the price for a xx60 bracket card, but it's for a good cause.
