Linus has a Tattoo...?

I used the search function and only saw comments on the video in FloatPlane, so I figured I would start a thread.

Does Linus have a tattoo?

 

I am assuming that this may have been for an event, but I don't know...

yes, he actually doesn't wear socks with sandals, it's just sandals and barefoot, the white socks are tattooed

I noticed that on the recent techlinked episode he hosted, thought i was seeing things cause its only partially visible for a few seconds.

I'm going to say no because it looks like one of those tattoo kits I used to have as a child. Bunch of stencils and coloured ink tubed that you blow onto it. It's even the exact same colours and I'm pretty sure I had that design too

Just keep an eye for the tattoo in other videos, sure he has 4 earrings on each ear, but a real tattoo, doubt it.

That tattoo you see is actually an infra-red receiver embedded in to the skin (through tattooing) that acts as a charging device for the bionics he has implanted. Most notable is the bionic implanted in his left index finger and left thumb that will allow him to scroll through the Teleprompter by rubbing his index finger down his thumb. Once he installs more of the infra-red transmitters around the office to keep him powered, it will eliminate the need for him to touch the remote on his hip every 20 seconds to scroll through the script.

Of course there is nothing wrong with tattoos but he does not seem to be the person that would get a tiny dragon on a very visible spot as his (presumably) first tattoo.

 

I initially thought it was a temporary tattoo he got from playing with his kids but after 3-4 videos (which I thought were recorded on the same day) now you can also see it on todays Computex ASUS phone video. I am quite sure he showered few times by now...

PLus his 8 earrings, 4 on each ear. Just wait for the cheek piercing, nose loop and large Amazonian ear holes, then dread locks.
