i guess u never had to open one of their products

 

i had razer for years many stuffs, then one blackwidow key decided to break so i decided to solder in a new switch amnually, before i even had the chance of opening the thing VERY CAREFULLY, i was doing it with extreme care the plastic just SNAPPED, literally like BANG snapped, that means its extreme poor quality plastic... even china products have better plastic... for that reason razer just sucks,,, they use worse then china grade plastic :v

I have a black widow chroma V2 and I love it. It feels very solid.

feels solid till u open it :v i know the feel man , trust me its just a finish on the plastic that makes it feel sturdy but the actual plastic is fking low quality :v

Let me guess, 1 year warranty, breaks after 1 year and 1 month of usage.

 

Also why would any one a webcam that is like a flashlight? that can't be great to use in the dark with that blinding white all around.

The dial sets the brightness from zero to 100%.

first Razer thing i lay my eyes on that i dont instantly hate that i can remember... looks nice, but only 720p at 60 or 1080p at 30 is pretty shit

i have this take on razer products.. its not that they're bad, its that a large portion of their customer base is notably tougher on their hardware than for example office people who'll have "was in the box" HP peripherals last 10 years.

also very good for a webcam. if this thing is priced comptetitively, i'd take it over the piece of trash i have now.

For $99, it's pretty bad. I could see it being good for new streamers at, maybe, $40-50 since it comes with an adjustable light and most newbies don't have the ability to get more than 720@60 or 1080@30 without getting better specs.

i am extremely careful with my hardware, my psvita is still a new as a baby and so does everything else look i swipe dirt off instantly ( u dont wanna see my messy room tho lmao )  but yeah,  im extremely caretaking of my hardware yet managed to snap that blackwidow plastic... thats why i quit razer forever

 

the problem with razer is just...  poor plastic ok... but the level of poor plastic razer uses is at the point where u can literally snap it between ur fingers almost

The spec looks pretty underwhelming. That said, there's no price listed so perhaps it's good value for the money.

Being Razer, I find that kind of unlikely, but I guess wait and see.

At least I don't see their hideous logo anywhere on it...

To be fair, it's likely made in China as well, and anything can be made anywhere with quality. It's all up to QC and the specifications the company contracting the manufacturer lays out.

Pretty much the same way I see it. I had one of their Chroma keyboards with the non Cherry switches and I actually liked it more than the MX Blues I had. It came with a PC I bought though. I wouldn't pay what they want for it. They have a serious value issue.

Wouldn't be bad for the surgery suite since it's tiny and has it's own light for those super-gross anatomy closeups.

I always thought Razer had a rep. of making premium products, but I guess I was wrong.
