Who cares if they're juggling multiple stones? You keep giving reasons as to what might cause Nvidia to have a better experience than AMD, but you haven't given a single example of HOW Nvidia's products are better than AMD's. I think the problem is that AMD right now dont have nothing that can compete with the high end Nvidea gpus so they take advantage of that after all if i need a graphics card with the power of a gtx 1080 what can  buy? AMD dont have nothing that can compete with the 1080 so its like a monopoly the high end stuff right now is a monopoly owned by Nvidea so if i need that power i will spend more because Nvidea can bump prices up because they are the only ones with gpus that are that powerfull.

We just need AMD to step up their game and we would be good.

OK, I'm gonna ask you up front. Name a feature that Nvidia does better than AMD. Done. Don't say "Nvidia is more concentrated on GPUs than AMD so they must be better." Cool. That's great for you. That's not a feature you get from your GPU.

The fact that AMD can't focus on one industry is hurting them badly, if they just sat down for a year just to focus on one thing CPU'S or GPU'S means the end result is the best thing that they could develop and could compete or even be better than the competition. This is where AMD go wrong and it's a shame because AMD CPU'S back in the day before they bought ATI were class.

Jen-Hsun Huang said before that "competition determines the price." He's exactly right. AMD is nowhere to be seen at the high end, allowing NVidia to charge $100-200 dollars more for top cards. I don't like the high prices myself but I completely understand why NVidia is doing it.

 

People need to stop bashing NVidia for high prices. If anything, blame AMD for being a missing persons report at the high end.

My rant about you guys who root for AMD like crazy:

 

You guys rant about Nvidia and Intel racking up prices of their flagship products. You rant about how they're out to hurt the consumer and how AMD is our lord and savior who shall descend from the heavens with their almighty Ryzen and Vega and purge the land of the pcmasterrace of the high prices inflicted by the demons Nvidia and Intel.

 

You tell a story of how the demon Nvidia came and forced upon the developers of your games the sin of Gimpworks, which was their tool to increase their market share and thus purge the lands of Saint AMD. They used it to become the evil ruler of the land of the pcmasterrace and use it to control the minds of the new citizens of the Pcmasterrace. Phew, I could write a novel about that!

 

But you guys don't understand. The reason Intel and Nvidia are racking up prices on their flagships is because of AMD. Because AMD decided to get out of the flagship single GPU market, Nvidia was allowed to rack up the prices of their flagships. Because AMD decided Bulldozer would be the future, Intel was allowed to rack up the prices of their flagships.

 

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying I want AMD to remain as the underdog forever and let Intel and Nvidia remain king forever. I'm saying for you guys to stop hating on Nvidia and Intel because if AMD was in their situation, they would do the exact same thing. It's standard business practice. No competition? Raise prices to increase profits!

 

So guys. Stop hating on Nvidia and Intel. I'm not saying stop rooting for AMD. We need the competition. It benefits us. But there is not reason to hate on Nvidia and Intel, especially since it really is AMD's fault we're in this mess.

How the hell does that make any sense? Just because a company is older than some other company doesn't mean its products are better. Just because a company is working on a wider range of products doesn't necessarily mean it's products are worse.

 

Please back up your statement. Tell me what Nvidia features are better than AMD. Please don't tell me why Nvidia might have better features than AMD. That's not what I'm asking.

His video is terrible. As i've said in the comment section a while back. The Titan X is not supposed to be compared to the x80 series. Look at the MSRP's of same cards from for example the x60 or x70 series. They go up and down bij about $50, nothing more.

Now that is a personal thing for you. I manually put the graphics settings for my games, but maybe that's useful for you and others.
