I like the NUC idea, but you might think about making your own battery pack, you can get standardized used laptop batteries online, the major benefit being that they are cheap. Like way way cheap if you find a corporation that is clearing out their laptop batteries... Then simply get a DC to DC psu, which are much lighter and more efficient than the AC to DC converters.  There are a few issues with using an un-interruptible power supply. Number one the batteries are typically not lithium so they are heavy. Next you have all the converting from the DC batteries to AC which is then converted from AC back to DC for the NUC and all the other electronics, and thirdly you have all the charging circuitry which is heavy, and could be removed by building your own.  All of these issues you could get around by building your own little battery bank! Orr you could also look for a lithium small plane battery, then buy a DC to DC psu, should have plenty of juice.

Why not just ask Min to send you just the PCI-e PCB/power supply from the razer core so you don't have to deal with the housing, and then why not use a nano? doesn't it have the current best performance per watt?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...
