Cheap gpu for maxing out games at 720p...

As the topic says I need a cheap gpu that can max out games at 720p... I will be buying a used one as I'm in storage of money... Will gtx 650ti boost or 660 do the job??

650ti or 660 should be more than enough

The 660 is better, and yea it should be fine for most games at 720p; it's an incredibly easy resolution to run.

because it is 3 generations old and it was low-mid tier at when it was new.

I can run probably AAA games at low-mid settings, but not on high or max settings.

fx 6300.. It doesn't have Integrated graphics

You can get a 7950 and it would max out every game at 720p 60fps + 

 

Or you can get a 390 (x) and max out 4x 720p

Damn, so much for that then. 750ti would do it.

A friend of mine have 650 Ti and he can't even max GTA5@800x600 for that fluid 60fps. 

 

660 will fare much better but at such low resolution your CPU will bottleneck the game most of the time.

Why suggest such old cards? Go for a GTX 950 or AMD current equivalent.

maybe around 100 dollars... But keep in mind I am going for a used gpu

Well actually its advertised as brand new, but still a low price for that card.
