Well-done. Don't like it when it gets all chewy and won't come apart. A lot of times I've had to pull the steak back out of my throat with my teeth to stop me from choking. Cooking it all the way through fixes that.

Sounds like you've only ever had really shit steaks to be honest with you. That said, we're all entitled to our opinions and our tastes, so I won't hold it against you (even though you're committing steak blasphemy)

No not at all. If done right the outside is cooked to kill any harmful stuff and the inside is super tender and tasty

If I'm at a restaurant, I'll go medium rare.  It's going to sit for a few before it gets to the table, so it will cool for a bit.  If I'm at home, I make it rare as I'm going to eat it right away.
