What antivirus do you use, if you use it?

Avast Internet security (I got a year free because I installed it on 7 computers)

I use avast and malwarebytes pro. I switched from avg. The funny thing is, avast suggests that i remove the remnants of avg in my PC.

The number of people using AVG is scary. As someone who regularly recovers data for people due to viruses, AVG is the most used antivirus on the infected rigs. It misses so much stuff I'll never trust it, even if I did use an AV. Is I am going to put an AV on a machine it is ESET NOD32. No questions asked.

Umm.  Woah, I'd call that overkill but it protects good though :)

Bitdefender Antivirus Plus. I'm pretty sensitive when I see a performance hit when using AVs, but this one had virtually no impact on overall performance, most especially game performance. Very satisfied with it.

I too came from Common Sense Anti-Virus, but I was an idiot to think downloading stuff from dubious websites and torrents was the only way I could possibly get it. It's easy to get cocky when you know a lot about how your PC works etc etc, but the threats out there are evolving too fast. No reason to stick with common sense, especially when there are options out there that have very, very, very minimal effect on performance.

Yep, and when allot of them hide in the boot sector of the hard drive and run before Windows loads.
