Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this >_>. These have been accumulating since last year. I can't find the heart in me to toss these computer boxes out. Using them as storage now lol.

I think I once saw this series on some program about people in America who have this habit of not throwing out old stuff whatever it is and they just store it.  Was some real serious shit and one guy even went to jail for a short time because of not wanting to give up his old stuff(furniture,old cars,tires,etc.,etc.). Hope you don't end up like that :P

Only kind of storage that is cheaper than Ikea. But yeah, i would never throw a pc thingy box out.

Yes I have the same issue, I never throw any electronics or shoe boxes etc out.

 

I have a small storage room in my apartment about 4'x6'x8' that I struggle to close the door on now :(

I keep all my boxes too. I don't have too many since I usually sell the old stuff when I upgrade, thereby ridding myself of the corresponding box.

the box that the box that the missus sharkoon t9 came in (from amazon) i can pretty much fit in, which is awesome, i dont care if im 24 i want a box! plus im actually thinking of putting other subdivided box's into it for storage, i hate moving 4 smaller box's and id love to have 1 unified place for everything.

You SHOULD keep the product box and the shipping box for a certain period of time in case you have to RMA. I had to RMA my 680 and it made it very convenient to ship it back in the same shipping box.

Actually I plan on using these boxes as furniture once I move to a 4-year university :D

That's one of the reasons why I still keep both shipping boxes and product boxes. You never know when your hardware will kick the bucket.

got maybe 4 ide cw/rd/rom drives and an asus 6850 box currently holding around 8 IDE drives that ive got to sort though.<br />

I have 2 silver raidmax cobra cases (don't judge, never stripped a thread yet and fit a gtx285)<br />

1 is going to be an e5200@3+ghz with a 9600gt, the other is going to be a q6600 and a hd6670, should be nice beginning pcs for someone.<br />

got an aopen Matx case(£5) which in a few weeks will be getting a sempron le2100(£10/part ex) and a passive gt210 (£5) to be made as a home theatre.</p>

Only keep the small boxes from hardware i bought, as long as the warranty lasts. (easier RMA)

A couple of month after purchase, i store them in my basement, tho.

 

Outer layers of shipping materials gets tossed after functionality is confirmed.

I like to keep the boxes also so when i upgrade and I sell the part off it looks alot better complete, even thou I dont get near as much for the part as I paid, at least the money in return goes to more upgrades! boom!
