[content idea] PC with high end components except the PSU

I saw this in facebook.

I'm just curious what will be the worse thing could happen?

A house fire. It has happened, is still happening and will continue to happen.

Would be fun for them to show it in a controlled environment with cheap hardware, so none of us will die of a heart attack ._.

It would almost certainly be an incredibly boring video. Low end PSU's aren't bombs, they do actually work, they just work badly. Basically you'd end up with a totally normal PC build video but a year of use later it would quit working or get unstable. If you're really lucky it might let out a big spark when you push the power button. Maybe take a component along with it.

What a video.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  1. There is a thread for video suggestions
  2. That's not how tags work on the forum
  3. That's a stupid idea. If you want someone to just kill hardware, there are more fun ways to do it

:)

As others have stated this is a bad idea (in terms of being a serious hazard), but otherwise belong in the linked post above.
