Probably only somewhat high end GPU:s and no CPU:s, and that they haven't been folding very long as recent WU:s are larger than older once.

open heart surgery complete the patient is expected to mak a full recovery for 2-3 days till my new psu arrives...the fan failed in my psu it now has a noctua 2000RPM industrial fan inside running at 100% thanks to the 40 MM fans i have from noctua i was able to adapt it to work off the power feed inside the psu with out modifying the fans cable.

yeah my psu was running almost 200F per my thermal gun so wanted to nip it in the butt before something bad happened...

Why not just cool it down with a jolly bucket full of mineral oil?  No recabeling required!

Another advantage of F@H

 

Was doing a 5th gen iPod touch screen replacement, which required removing the battery and softening it's overly strong adhesive. I realized i left my heat gun in the garage and was too lazy to get it...

 

Held the iPod to the back of my PC and it warmed right up!

Now that I think about it, I've not heard the fan on my PSU since I tested it on installation. It's oversized for my modest build.

Thats actually one reason I oversize my PSU a lot of the time, I look for power supplies that dont need their fans at 50% or so load and then work with that... The way i see it the less stress on your psu the better if you can afford it...

well lol its only 650 at full load it should be pulling 550-600 watts lol  have a 750watt seasonic enroute...woulda gotten larrger but for good ole bender 750 is more than he will ever need in theary. and will be going from a 2011 bronze to a 2019 GOLD

Mine must be about the same age... it was the only component given a second life in my "new" rig, when I build it 4 or 5 years ago. Also 650W, but a bequit! one

At full tilt, I'm around 350W on my RM850i. I was looking at 650 but Micro Center had these reman with a warranty.

LOL - I've replaced some of the 80mm ball-bearing fans in my UPSes with Noctua 80mm AF and it makes a world of difference but you just went in the opposite direction.

 

I tend to use the 140mm NF-A14 iPPC3000s in all my Fractal cases for the rear exhaust just because and when I put my new 5700XTs in the Define Meshify S I thought - "boy these AMD cards have loud fans" until I realized I upgraded the BIOS on the motherboard while I was rearranging things and had lost the fan profiles and the rear exhaust was running full-tilt.

Im using shockingly low power, actually had to check if everything was folding.

 

ryzen 9 3900x, RTX 2070, GTX 670. All only drawing 520w from the wall.

well its just for 3 days lol and its what i had laying around...i will be putting it as the exaust once i get the new PSU. i didnt realize i had a 2k 120mm i currently have a 1.5k standard Noctua PWM 120mm there.

I'm not sure if that's quite right... Afaik, a 2070s runs a TU104, same as a 2080, while a 2070 runs a TU106 (I think smaller die, less cuda?), and a 2080s still runs the 104 but with a handful more cuda cores (and maybe a higher tune?). 

 

Also, I think all the mid to upper end Turing cards had GDDR6 from launch.

open up the advanced control, click on configure in the top left corner then click on the expert tab, under extra client options click add, in name type client-type in value type advanced then click ok then save.
