A GPU capable of 1440p 144Hz Gaming

I need to get a graphics card capable of playing games at 1440p 144Hz. The GPU will only be powering a single display. It’ll be paired with a Ryzen 3600 and 16GB ram and an x570 board and a 750w EVGA power supply.

Depending on the games you play. I have a 1440p/144 myself with a 2080ti and the 2080ti cant always push those frames.

Currently I'd go with a 2080S

Though, I'd wait for the new AMD cards

The rx 5700xt is probably your best bet, or a 2080 super if you can afford it.

No 330$ GPU can get anywhere close to 1440p 144hz at settings that would make it worth playing at 1440p resolution.

1440p 144Hz is more demanding than 4k 60Hz.

2060 Super or a 5700XT would be the best you could get, right outside your budget. Drop the PSU down to a 550W unit, as that will be more than enough (but still go for a high quality unit, check the forum's PSU tier list if you're not sure what to go for), save some extra few bucks and you should be able to fit either of those GPUs into your budget.

 

I've personally got a 2070, which is pretty much in the same neighbourhood in terms of performance as the 2 cards I've mentioned above. A couple of quick examples regarding performance in FPS games at 1440p would be around 100FPS on average in Battlefield 5 at High-Ultra settings, 70-80FPS in Modern Warfare maxed out settings except for raytracing and over 144FPS in Rainbow Six: Siege at High settings, that should give you a decent idea at what performance you should expect I reckon.

ur best bet is next year, after the next gen consoles come out, there will very likely be an affordable 4k/60, 1440/144 gpu.

A 5700 XT should get 15-30FPS higher in BF5, as the game is massively optimized for it. (once optimized for AMD and Nvidia, the AMD cards have a significant performance advantage, actually comparable to the next tier higher Nvidia cards)
