LTT Minecraft Server

I'm sure this is a repeat questions but is there an official and/or unofficial Minecraft server? Ideally non-modded or minimal mods, PC only and preferably Java edition.

 

If not, I would be able to host one if there was enough interest. Just putting out feelers at this point.

I know I played on a modded server (using an FTB pack from Twitch) with Jake and a mod (probably some other people as well) over on the LTT Discord. iirc the server was hosted on the LTT network, but its been a while since this happened.

I don't think atm they are looking for a new server.  But, I don't mind more folks joining.  Note though, it is whitelisted, so I have to add folks to that list before they can get on.

That sounds splendid, now I just need a copy of Minecraft.

CPU: Intel i5 2500k 4 Cores, 4 Threads @ 4.5ghz ( asus uefi regulates BIOS and adjusts it, there is no manual option, so I can't get any higher than 4.5, but I theoretically should be able to get higher once I get a voltage "changeable" mobo

Guess you messed with 1.14?  There are some major bugs atm with it.  1.14.1 is a tad better, the lighting bug is fixed.  1.14.2 is already being worked on by Mojang.

 

The W10 version does run smoother on chunk rendering.

Did you configure any of the java arguments?

 

Java is going to have lesser performance on chunk rendering.  Offset, there are mods, plugins, datapacks, and texture packs for it that don't cost money.

I have no clue what is up with your java version then.  I never mess with 1.12.  Played the beta and up to 1.8.  Then came back with 1.13.2 and 1.14.  So far, I get great framerate even without Optifine.

I only gave it 4GB of RAM max with the java arguments.  This also with me running BOINC LHC units in the background eating up to 85% of the CPU.

LTT just released a build video about their minecraft server. No details if it's gonna be open to the viewers or not.
