Why 850 watts?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

There are actually dozens of power supplies I would probably recommend over those two if you include the plethora of wattage options that would be more than sufficient. Probably half a dozen different models.

None. Since you say money is not a problem than I will go with EVGA G2.

Neither, they're both overpriced and overkill.

You can get similar/better PSUs for less such as: Corsair RMx, be quiet! Straight Power 11, or Bitfenix Whisper/Formula Gold.

That would be worse than the two OP is looking at... The EVGA G2 is a lot cheaper than those units as well so I'm not sure where you're going with the "if money is not a problem" remark.

Why did you select those two options? Is there anything in particular about them that attracted you to them?
As far as power consumption for your system goes, you're looking at ~300W max for the RTX2080Ti and max of 200W for the i9 9900k at stock. i9 9900k @ 5GHz can draw around 250W. Assuming you're overclocking I would go with 650W PSU as a minimum, but 750W might not be a bad choice. 850W is more than necessary, but at the end of the day the only thing an 850W is going to hurt is your wallet.

You could get the Corsair HX750/HX750i from Amazon for $130/$140
BQ Dark Power Pro 11
BQ Straight Power 11
Corsair RMi

If you really want to spend $200 on a PSU, then the new Corsair AX850 is $199 (would be a better option than the $20 more expensive Asus ROG Thor 850w)

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

What did you decide on (out of curiosity)?
