So this would mean that the next meetup (today, actually) can actually be a meetup :D

Though, the instancing for the Social Module seems to be random :(

Yeah, I thought it sends friends into the same instance, but it looks like it seems random, but out of a couple of instances, though they might have increased the amount of instances since then.

Yep, really need to do a call out, keep the best bits quiet tho.

I haven't played it and gonna do "first reactions" video tonight.

Is there a way of guaranteeing we all get in the same instance?

Not sure how the instancing works, but I don't know if we can be sure that we're in the same.

A ) I just managed to clip to the Constellation. Unfortunally it has neither interior textures nor clipping  :mellow:

B ) Along the way to get the social module working again, I found out that there is a new launcher music  :D

I posted the vimeo link above as they put stuff on there first. Needs a bit of optimization (z clipping and fps). Also go to the beginning and look how much the flight model has changed. Its amazing.

Also my comments keep disappearing on this thread, weird.

And adding to that I'd much rather have them fix the GIM now and wait another month for SM and AC2.0

I'd like it now but I've tested alphas and closed betas before and know what they are, after the first few releases of AC and the naïve reactions a lot of people had I fully understand and support their choice to put more polish on things before they push them out.

At the end of the day unless something goes drastically wrong I'm in it for the long run, I'd love to see where it goes in 10+ years but for the moment I'm enjoying every bit of the journey.
