The only reason to do this is to avoid the likely chance that the courts have no understanding of technology. AMD was in the right prior, and they shouldn't be paying for the misunderstanding of a handful of consumers.

If 3600 is 100$ cheaper, I wouldnt even consider 8700. And like said before, if 8700 is in your budget range, 3700X could be the smarter buy.

Covered io is useless in most cases as it heats up the vrm more with that plastic stuff on top of it.

Just get an MSI b450 board. Most of those have biosflashback on them so you can update to a 3000-series bios without a supported cpu or ram.
MSI b450 pro carbon is quite nice. Wlan and bluetooth with vrm comparable to most under 200€ x470 motherboards.

It seems you have plenty of options for adding more airflow, if you can install new fans. And 200mm tall CPU cooler support is very good. I like this case, looks good, and has upgrade-ability. Let us know how have you decided. I'd probably go with 2 front and 1 back exhaust fan, such as BQ SilentWings and with a CPU cooler like 212Evo, 212X, Fera3 or AlpenFöhn Ben Nevis (advanced) or Brocken Eco (advanced). Should be night&day to 1 fan&stock cooler setup.

Don't worry, those coolers should be fine. The stock 2600 wraith stealth is just not a good cooler. Even a gammaxx200t deepcool vastly outperforms it, for price around 15USD. The mentioned CPU coolers are all superieur.

Take auto-voltage off. Most motherboards push something like 0.1V too much with that on. Try 1.3V, and if stable, drop 0.1V till it becomes unstable. Then revert to lowest stable setting. If 1.3V is not enough, raise voltage with the same method in small increments till it becomes stable.

mobo was much worse, ram was overpriced, ssd was wildly overkill, case can be done cheaper and better and the g3 has ocp issues, so especially with a 2080 ti and a 9900k i wouldn't recommend it

thinwalrus got a reaction from seon123 in Is a 1000w power supply worth it in this context?
That reasoning turned out to be utter nonsense as many high tier psu:s(G2 has the exact same thing a bit worse) have same so called problems. Just read reviews from experts and if they score a 100$ psu well it should be just fine.

The hatred towards G3 here comes from a misunderstood review by Tomshardware. Its pretty much on the basis that one psu broke down when reviewed, you dont have a line of psus where none break down so that should not be a strike against just one psu model. Same should be applied to any psu that has been known to break at least once.
