WillLTT got a reaction from WhitetailAni in Some bash scripting questions
Scripts cannot elevate themselves.
But you can however just run put sudo in front of the command to run the script like this:
sudo bash your_script.sh then the script will be run as root.
But remember tp be careful when using sudo.
root can be dangerous to your system if used in the wrong way.

WillLTT reacted to Dedayog in Give Anthony his own channel
May want to consider if Anthony WANTS this. He seems a bit more introverted to be constantly in front of the camera. Once in a while, maybe.
Could be just my perception, of course.

WillLTT got a reaction from RockSolid1106 in Want to learn coding in mobile
Alternative apps (quick google search):
SoloLearn, i think its free based on their forum:
https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/135033/is-sololearn-fully-free
Also if you want to program without an app like that:
If you are on android, You can install
Acode (Mobile IDE):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.foxdebug.acodefree
Termux (linux shell for python and stuff):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.termux
Theres VIM for android (if your into that kinda thing):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.droidvim
My advice:
Get a laptop or a chromebook, or something thats not as tiny as your phone, starring a long time at your phone programming is bad for your eyes, And its a miserabel experience on android, cant speak for iphone never tried.
If you get a chromebook you can use sites like:
https://replit.com/
https://trinket.io/

WillLTT got a reaction from RockSolid1106 in Telling python to use an operator
i agree that this is probably the best solution.
But i wanted to add a note😊:
If you come across the use of the eval function, dont use it, i looks like this:
eval("print('helloworld')) // in your case, // you can come across this: // dont use it. eval("2+2") DONT use it, it is very very bad pratice.

WillLTT got a reaction from saba17 in Weird problem in my PC! PLEASE HELP
The explanation here i think is that when using windowed mode you are using smaller window, therefore less for the computer to render, less strain on the computer, therefore less lag and more resources for the game to run smoothly.
Somethings you can try to do to lower strain on the computer in fullscreen are:
Lower the reselution of the game in the game settings. Turn down some other graphics settings.
However this does need to be the case, sometimes you can have a good pc and its just slow for some reason or another, or you pc is simply just taking on the years a little.
Also what are your pc specs? Maybe we can help further then?

Yes. They've boged and tricked incompatible drivers to work on newer operating systems, i recon that cant be good eh?
They could be poorly patched and buggy.

WillLTT got a reaction from Kalleankastar in Do you call it video card or graphics card
Both, in my opinion:
Video card: An older term for older VGA Cards like the Nividia's TNT 2
Graphics card: A modern term for a new cards like RTX 3080 and such.

WillLTT got a reaction from sub68 in Microphone is only picking up Noise
I had one of these things happen, where neither sound out or in worked, the sound chip was dead, or atleast very broken, so had to get a sound card to replace it.
So did you try with an external usb sound card?
If that does not work either then i have no idea.
Im out of ideas, Good luck trubleshooting!

I would go for brand new, because with ali-express, you probably get piss poor shipping, and no warranty cpu that arrives broken in box
