What to search for to find headphones wires?

I plan to do the following mod on my already dying headset: 

 

 

When he solders back the wires, it's like colorful sort of thin wires, and not just regular copper wires

What should I search for online to get them?

Is this color also sort of insulator?

He wrote a section in the description, that said "Parts" maybe thats what you need  i saw there were some items labeled as cables down there.  

 

Edit: its was just aux cables, so nvm

Any wire will do - just re-use some from the cable you cut off. It's hard to find wire as thin as what internal cable use online. Just remember that the insulation is usually paint, so you need to scrape or burn it off before you solder.
