AtomicWaveBlast reacted to W-L in How do I remove stickers from a case fan
Take a hair dryer to warm the adhesive before removing, if there is a residue some isopropyl alcohol should do the rest.

AtomicWaveBlast reacted to Radium_Angel in External hdd not working
It has been my experience with external drives that it's usually the enclosure and components that go bad rather than the drive itself.
If there is data you need off it, take it apart and plug the drive directly into your system to recover data. Alternately, take the device to a friend's house and see if it works on his machine

AtomicWaveBlast reacted to Eduard the weeb in Halp!!! (Accidentally formatted hdd)
they have some places were you can send the drive back and they can recover the data
you could drop off there HDD at a shop and they ( should ) be able to fix it and get most off the data back, just don't put anything over it or you may lose part or all some data.

AtomicWaveBlast reacted to PhantomJaguarr in Is it harder to get into a physical college while doing online school than physical school?
At the university I went to, UCSD, they throw your application out without even looking through it if your GPA isn't 3.5 or higher.

AtomicWaveBlast reacted to Majinhoju in Parents keep telling me “Video games cause mental disorders” which I find pure bull shit
Not sure what to recommend. How many hours do you play a day? Do you piss and moan when they ask you to do your chores? Is your room a filthy mess? Do you have a part time job (assuming you're old enough to work)? Video games don't cause mental disorders but they could be a little fed up if you sit gaming all day consuming the food they pay for, the electricity they pay for, under the roof they pay for.

AtomicWaveBlast reacted to Vantage9 in Parents keep telling me “Video games cause mental disorders” which I find pure bull shit
If your parents are the type to actually think that Video Games cause Mental Disorders, you won't be getting through to them any time soon. That's some deep-level ignorance.
Learn to ignore them and just wait until you can get away ASAP.

Pro versions are for the commercial market like intel vPro cpu's.
They have functions that aren't relevant for the average user.
An R5 1500 actually doesn't exist, there's only the 1400 and 1500x

Well it can, but then again anything can cause a mental disorder. Recently the W.H.O. stated that gaming is an addiction, in which anything and everything can become an addiction. Over eating is a disease, alcohol, working too much, gambling, illegal drugs, weed, prescripts, working out, nicotine, coffee, energy drinks.
Basically anything that changes your mood and most importantly changes your thought pattern, because when it comes down to it, the mental disorder at hand, meaning addiction problem, boils down to the way we think and that the disorder itself is just a by-product. Many love to drink booze, some have 1/2 or 1 or two and feel abit woozy and stop, while others can never have just 1/2 or 1 or two. There inlays the problem at hand. Also a normal life is about balance.
