it does that because of bandwidth constraints. 100hz or lower uses less bandwidth so can support 10bit color. so your basically maxing out what the cable can support.

Zonther got a reaction from Aljaurez in Should i buy this cpu?
I would go with something with 4 real cores. The Q6600 I had was a decent overclocking chip and could run most games at 40+ FPS in 2014 on a GTX 770. I now have a R7 2700X and with the GTX 770 that 40 FPS went up to 55-60 FPS on the same games I played in 2014. So I would say a lot.

    E6500 is 2006-2007. I bought a Q6600 in 2007 and I think it was released in 2006.

I have a H110i on my 2700X and at default settings it can get a little warm 60-70C (depending on how hard I'm pushing it). Also what program do you check the CPU temps with? Ryzen Master can show the temperature higher than what it really is.

If you are going to OC, I'm using a R7 2700X and can reach 4.2 GHz at 1.35V. Just remember not all CPU'S can do this. But for a R5 2600X, you should easily hit 4 GHz at 1.35V and 4.2 GHz at the same voltage if you won the silicon lottery.

I used the stock cooler when I first got my Q6600 in 2007 and I was consistently hitting 60C+ not even OC and it is loud and annoying. If you can save up $40ish, it is worth the cooler temps and less noise even OC to 2.99 GHz. The fan on the intel cooler sounds like a chainsaw.

Zonther reacted to Volbet in How to disable nvidia audio drivers permanently
You shouldn't have to disable them to begin with. You should just pick something else as your default audio device.

    To answer your question:
You could uninstall the drivers and then reinstall them without the audio drivers.
You just need to do a custom install and uncheck the audio drivers and perform a clean install:

Zonther got a reaction from kingfurykiller in Laptop is not turning on
It could be one of 3  things. Power supply, motherboard or CPU failed. Easiest thing to test is the power supply. If your battery in the laptop is still working, I would try to unplug the laptop and see if it starts that way. If still doesn't start remove the battery from the laptop as well for 1 min and try again. I don't think it is a RAM issue but you can try to remove 1 stick if it has two sticks of ram. If it has 1 stick of ram try putting it into the other slot. If nothing is working, remove the battery again and also remove the button  battery on the mother board. This resets the BIOS and the clock on the system clock to its default settings and time. If still nothing there is an issue with the motherboard, CPU or the internal power supply.

Thats only cause its a Russian company. Considering they're one of the most trusted AVs in the world AND are always being extensively tested by others i'd say its worth it.

    1. Unactivated windows has little to no difference from activated windows, and it doesn't affect performance.
    2. There are certain applications which don't give you 'hacked windows' all it does is activate the unactivated windows that you got for free.

Freesync monitor so definitely get Vega 56. No need for such an expensive motherboard. Do not pay $100 for OS. You can use Win10 for free, or get a key for <$30. Better PSU. Nice 500GB SSD and still cheaper than what you were initially looking at.
