is 1680x1050 720p or 1080p

720p is a nickname for 1280x720, 1080p is a nickname for 1920x1080. There isn't a nickname for every resolution, so some might not have any. 1680x1050 doesn't really have an easy nickname (unless you count "WSXGA+"). 1680x1050 is 1680x1050.

Neither, it's 1680x1050.

1080p is 1920x1080.

720p is 1280x720.

1680x1050 is 1680x1050.

[vertical resolution]p/i only applies to television standard resolutions.

720p implies 1280x720 at 60 hertz, in North America, for example.

It's why 480p shouldn't and doesn't imply 640x480; 480p is defined as 720x480 at 60 hertz, again in NA.

My cousin used to have a bunch of CRT 1050p monitors together.

1366x768 for TV and budget laptops

1920x1080 TV or monitor

2560x1440 for monitor (not sure if TV's also have that)

3840x2160

Those are resolutions that I can agree with. Anything out of that range is weird to me xD

Yeah we have some of those "1050p" as well in our company. Same goes for 1600x900 on latoptops and 1920x1200 on some monitors.

I'm still shocked when I see those weird resolutions for some reason lol
