Managed to get it at 3.8GHz and the RAM  at 2993 MHz on the bios, just stress testing it on aida64 now. If it’s been 81-82°C for the past 10 minutes, it should be alright, no? I’m stress testing the gpu (it’s constantly at 64°C with 37% fan speed) at the same time, if it matters.

that's not a standard PCIe expansion card...looks almost like a b key m.2 slot but it isn't either...probably a proprietary slot in the laptop mainboard

Yes. Just be careful with it, those things are fragile.
 
On a side note, if the game doesn't use Steamworks (i.e., there's no steam.dll file in the game's install folder somewhere), it's likely it doesn't actually need Steam to run. This is almost certainly true with the DOS games you can buy there.

I have done that before and it's pretty hit or miss. Sometimes the game will require an update even on the latest version sometimes it just works can't say for sure.

the developer will update the app, or it won't work. Nothing else will work, maybe a jailbreak or if you compile it yourself for 64 bit if you have the source

It varies from game to game, but they're pretty similar.  I'd get the 1060, but I tend to lean towards NVIDIA in general.  You might want to turn down your volume first because of the loud music, but take a look at these benchmark videos:
Also keep in mind that the differences shown here are exaggerated because they are stress tests.  It will still show which one performs better in each game though.

The different colors in an RGB LED usually aren't capable of exactly the same levels of illumination. In your case it sounds like the red element is slightly brighter at maximum than the green and blue elements. If you want it to produce a white light you are going to have to fine tune the individual colors until you find the right settings.

In this case, 3200Mhz would probably be the limit of the memory controller in the CPU. You would buy RAM and OC it to 3200Mhz to matche the CPU/MOBO. Ram generally wont run over the DDR standard speed without OCing.

I would say it is. the cheapest GTX 1050Ti in Portugal is currently 165€, and that GTX 970 beats the 1050Ti by far.

As long as you map out where you cut the case, mask the area off and take your time to cut and rivet or bolt the dual PCI-E bracket in place like in that mod you will be good. 

Probably  isn't worried enough to spend money on a better one I suppose
