Shit in university all everyone does is piracy since the book and online material courses are $400+ per item... some professors even promote to rip it from a site or buy a single user code for the whole class...

Everything also depends on context.  It may have been a misinterpreted bad joke.  If she was serious then it would be a different story.  
 
However, this is a deviation from the intended argument of the student.  The purpose of this thread was to ask the question: "Can I put my teacher in prison for downloading videos for educational purposes?"  I believe he has already received a relatively solid answer.  Whether he chooses to accept the evidence of "Fair Use" is up to him.  

And then the Kid comes home Mom i need $75.00 to buy online videos for a school project.  Sounds like from another comment it for photshop and maybe video editing class. so doing this instead of stock images maybe? idk  but seems pretty harmless

Of I were OP's teacher, A) I would provide the videos on the class pc for the students to put on their flash drives. 
 
B) Anyone complaining of copyright infringement gets to write an essay on the topic for their learning benefit.

Anyone else think this is sorta like an over exaggerated pursuit of something that shouldn't matter , first off the title i though it was like making OP download cracked version of highly over priced software's or making Camed Movies from local theater  or rip blurays with OP as a middle man or something , that shit is legit "piracy" in it's full scale. for a youtube video?  If it's for educational purposes let alone for helping you gain info , addressing the issue is okay , but going overboard it's crazy.

"Fair Use" is protected under the TOS.  And even if it wasn't the worst thing that can happen in violating a TOS is to have your account terminated.  You can't be thrown in prison unless you break a US law.  

TOS != Law, breaking the TOS does not mean you've broken any laws it simply means that YouTube can prevent you from using their services.

Yes, let's destroy the lively hood  of someone for a crappy copy of a YouTube video and making the class do Photoshop. /s

The biggest problem with mobile phones is cooling. Even if they could pack all the processing power of your computer into the size of your phone the thing would just overheat. 

It's more than 6% profit. They make the money of their gpu back then they still have the opportunity to sell the gpu back for 3/4 the price it is new and they make some money.

Damn.  I was hoping for a $300 fix and be able to sell the old gpu for $50 to $100.  I rlly don't wanna buy a new computer ;-;
