Once upon a time there was a reason for macs, now there is no good reason, the hardware is lacking, due to having one fan that thing will be bloody loud, adobe themselves stated that windows is better for editing, you cant upgrade, if it breaks then you will pay a lot more then you normally would. Its said to be able to edit 4k footage, yet it has a 256gb hard drive, that is pathetic, 4k footage is massive, that could store maybe a 4minute 4 k video 

Or content creators that rely on editing programs for their living, ie: adobe premiere/after effects/sony vegas
But holy shit - they sure are expensive.

It can be difficult to come to a consensus. I think in the case of software if you're constantly using it, you should also pay for it.

The only thing Alienware has going for it, is "pretty lights".

The PC version is almost certainly 100% done already, they are just milking the console versions for all they are worth before they release the PC version (which they will get less sales from for obvious reasons)

Ok, I see what Valve is doing here. I don't think they're actually going to be releasing their own hardware, but instead they made SteamOS, which can be freely licensed to whoever, and then 'X' company can essentially make a SteamBox. Make a computer, load SteamOS onto it, SteamBox.
