No. Theoretically, Macs degrade faster due to running considerably hotter than many PCs.

yah the lights shouldnt be too hard, they probably run on just 5V or something else i could grab off a SATA connector  

Very nice, make sure you reuse the original power button and figure out a way to power the lights, makes the build a whole lot cooler

well, i mean the rad isn't COMPLETELY useless. it's still a 240x28mm rad that you can splice into with regular plumbing fittings. they're just rubber hoses.

You'd have to make each surface atomically flat, which is incredibly difficult. And it would still take very little to ruin the flat surface.
