I got cheese. Plus I ordered a powerbank on Friday on sale for almost half off.
The cheese is some of the best I've tasted. Creamy cheddar with four types of spicy peppers. Over a dollar an ounce lol

I picked up a couple of Dreamcast games to add to my collection. Sonic shuffle is a terrible game, but rare enough that I had to get it. JSR isn't as rare... But it is however, good Seller didn't mention it was factory sealed, which is really cool; I don't have any other sealed collectables.

Also not pictured is x5 undamaged empty game cases. Anyone who knows Dreamcasts will know the cases are like eggshells, and having spares is as valuable as the games themselves... XD

A 600W cheap chinese PSU is not the same as a high quality brand name 600W PSU.
A crappy PSU will light your house on fire before you even reach half of its rated wattage.
So it really depends on what model of PSU you have.

Alright, well, my Black Friday loot is as follow

Got the Audio Technica ATH-M40X headphones for 99$

The Logitech G910 Spark for 120$

and the Logitech G502 for 49$
(And a fitted sheet for my bed to replace a ripped up one, for 15$)
All in all, with taxes, it cost me just under 325$ Canadian.

Buying the peripherals is the first step to buying my new PC... which likely won't happen until next year since I'd like to have the Ryzen 3xxx series for CPU and a new GPU from AMD that isn't a rebrand of a rebrand.

Recently I got myself a Fleximounts dual stacking monitor arm to make room for my new monitor. I got the asus pg278qr which is a 27" TN, 1440p, 165hz with gsync. Got this one specifically because I wanted to stack both monitors on top of each other which does not work well with their new curved monitors. Top monitor is a non-curved 34" IPS 1440p ultrawide which I angled down towards me, this setup actually works perfectly for me.

Also got the new Pokemon Let's go. Can you tell I've got some issues lol, and that's only my gba collection ?

The Pinebook arrived yesterday. Will be writing a full review over the next month or so, but so far it's pretty much met my expectations. Was pleasantly surprised to find out they upgraded the 11.6" model with a 1920x1080 FHD panel (from the previous spec 1366x768). From the reviews I've read about this model before, it was a worthy update to the product. Glad I waited until now to order one.

Scored a nice gem today.  Someone had a pile of keyboards for sale for $20 with this little beauty among them. Took the lot for $15 not really knowing what it was. Pleasantly surprised upon flipping it over. It's an older one too, has a DIN to PS2 adapter on it.

Gay men can (and often do) adopt or use surrogate mothers to have children. Lesbians often adopt or use donor sperm. Transfolks have all kinds of options.

I'm not saying you have to have children, though. That is a decision each individual and couple (or more, in the case of polyamorous relationships) have to make themselves and not just conform to peer pressure or mere tradition.

Congratulations on your anniversary! Don't be afraid or ashamed to announce it in large print here.

    ITNOS Definition....
    IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE
It's about time I posted one of my own builds instead of just builds I made for other people huh? You'll notice a lot of parts are mismatched; this is because 85% of the system were parts from my old build that I'm re-purposing IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE (hence the name)

    Core i5-4570 - $68 on Ebay
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H (From old main rig)
    Team Elite 2x4GB DDR3 1333mhz - $20 on Tech forum
Corsair H90i AIO (From old main rig)
Corsair CX600M (from old main rig)
EVGA 970 FTW (From old main rig) / Asus 750ti - $60 on Tech forum
Thermaltake Level 10 GT (From old main rig)
Asus PCE-AC68 Wifi adapter (The Router is two stories above this, but this wifi card still holds a steady 5 bar signal on 5GHz)
640GB 2.5" HDD from an old laptop Running Windows 7 Ultimate. (It's what I had)

There's not much to say about this build. If you want to learn more about what Folding is, I'll link the LTT post below, but the TL;DR is you donate your hardware to run full time for Stanford University to help research for multiple diseases. Think of it as mining for a cure for cancer.

I had about half of ITNOS still assembled (out of sheer laziness)when it was disassembled when I side-graded to the mITX form factor. This conveniently ended up saving me some time.

(Please ignore the backgrounds I'm building this in a basement  )

Some Thermal Paste donated from the thermal paste tube from my Cryorig H7 that's now in my main rig (I once had Arctic MX-4 lying around somewhere but thats lost. Plus this doesnt matter; The CPU isnt super important in this system anyways, even I were to fill in all three GPU slots in this board)

You'll note here the RAM specified in the parts list isnt installed. Thats because the GPU/RAM were ordered together but they wont get here till 11/12, and I didnt want to wait. So I sacrificed an 8GB stick from my main rig (Sorry Computer-I-Dont-Have-A-Name-For) to get ITNOS up and running. As such you wont see any pictures of the Asus 750ti for a while either.

With the GPU and WIFI installed, it's time to see if it would post

    BOOM!

Man, if I'm to upgrade two things in this build, it's the HDD and the PSU. The PSU just or potential upgrades/efficiency down the line since this will be running 24/7, but the HDD.... Oh man I totally forgot how bad HDD's used to be using them as an OS. Actually having to use it... It took one hour after boot up to get folding started (Mind you this was technically not a clean copy so that doesnt help but still). Unfortunately I had only ONE keyboard, so every time there was an issue I had to drag my keyboard up and down two flights of stars back to my main rig (I dont know how many times I did that) so I could do things like download Wifi Drivers or figure out which port on my router each system was connected to in IPConfig.

Here's the Final result! 315k PPD isnt what I was expecting from the 970, but I think it has something to do with the fact that the memory doesnt seem to want to go beyond 3004mhz even with a manual OC applied....

I also had a couple of issues with getting my main rig (folding with a 1080ti) to monitor ITNOS remotely, but @Gorgon's guide and a bit of extra pointers got me up and running without much fuss.
I'm also considering trying Linux, but as a first time user that would be a very big learning curve and the downtime for the competition month probably wouldnt yeild me any significant gains. If I do do that,I'll post comparisons here:

The starry-eyed bling bling kid in me reared its ugly head, I went out and got some RGB fans and a LED strip....the 4 RGB fan kit comes with a remote controller and a hub to connect and synchronize up to 8 fans and 3 RGB strips.

Those fans and LED strip sure as heck brighten up my case, thus bringing meaning to my otherwise drab existence.?

Now, on to the big purchase, ordered a Samsung 49" super ultra wide monitor (32:9) while I was at the tech mall buying those fans. Was told delivery was set for tomorrow, but when I got home, they called me to say that they'd be delivering the monitor today instead....pleasantly surprising me. The View 31 box you see there was a purchase I'd made a couple of days back.

A shot of the monitor in action, please pardon the untidy desk, I wasn't prepared for them to come today....I'd run Metro 2033 Redux just to highlight how wide it is. I'd had Freesync enabled on both the monitor and my cards' setting, framerate's lock at 144fps (max ingame, SSAA at 0.2x, no PhysX)
