if you want a Mac, get a mac, Hackintosh is for people who love to tinker and make stuff work, there are going to be many roadblocks you come up against. it seems like you just heard about hackintosh which means it's definitely not for you

This has actually been resolved. Corsair customer support finally got back to me and it is being sorted. appreciate everyone's help though!

Im not an expert, but i had a similar problem. I replaced the battery on the mobo, and all was fine. Dont know why it worked, just happy it did. No idea if it will work for you, but its a much cheaper 1st step than getn a new mobo all together. Might be worth trying.

On a side note: That's a Black LMG Edition Noctua Fan

Could be vrm noise, cpu makes no sound since it has no vibrating/moving parts, but the vrm chips next to it can make noise I'm different loading stages. 
 

Have you checked if there is no dust in the CPU heatsink. It can produce such noises.

There's a tool called Deep Freeze which will reset Windows to a known state every time the computer is rebooted.
 
You could also make sure the other account you want them to use has basically only read/execute permissions on everything except the account's user folder.

Are these systems managed by a server or active directory at all? That will make this much easier?
 
There are solutions like deep freeze that will wipe a system back to a normal state everynight, but you have to update those images at times with updates.
 
How are they reaking the system? Id lock down the accounts some more.

I've got parity preventing some data loss but no real Backup... honestly losing my movies is not that big of a deal for me since I don't see it as critical content. Backing up 9tb of Data would be pretty pricy no matter if I keep it off or on site.

Alright, there should be a way to do native iOS to Linux. I see plenty of Ubuntu guides so I'm sure I can find something for unRaid as well.

This is the exact reason why I reccomend against it.The problem with these is that they extend slightly outwards so you won't be able to close the door
