If you can get there on a bike and have a passport book/card/nexus/bribe money, then yes, they will let you in.

The site groupcarpool.com could help coordinate this.  Lets drivers add their car with location, time, and number of seats and allows riders to sign up for a spot.
I've set up an example here.  lmk your thoughts

It looks like that is a problem booting windows because it can not access all the needed files.  It could be inconveniently corrupted files or sectors on the hard drive, something got moved or deleted, etc.  If you can use repair options or safe-boot try that, or get a fresh ISO to fix or reinstall the os

I just got the Brainwavz Delta which are a pretty decent cheap pair.  For even cheaper Monoprice 'Enhanced Bass Hi-Fi Noise Isolating Earbuds Headphones' are $7 and go on sale even lower but are surprisingly decent to have around as a spare.

    I would do some cable management for sure;

desk organization to get more usable desk space - bins/shelves to stack stuff, finding a storage area away from the desk to move things to

some LED strips on the back of the desk.  White walls will carry color well, and a splash of color will help diffuse the contrast between the black desk + equipment and white walls

SirMonti reacted to KenjiUmino in Is it possible to host a server at home and have other's connect with my public IP?
yes - that should work. use something like dyndns to make it easier, as @SirMonti already said.

yes - if your routers firewall is worth anything then you need to open a port or two for the server to be accessible from the outside.

i don't recommend it tho. it might be fine for testing with a friends but be very carefull who you share that ip or dyndns url with. it is very risky to expose the IP of your home internet connection.

i heard from people who got ddosed the crap out of after their ip became known to the public. (like when the IP was accidently shown on screen during a twitch stream or so)

professional hosters usually implemented a high level of protection against this kind of shit that a regular consumer internet connection does not have.

It is possible, look into Dynamic DNS (with a service like No IP) to essentially use a domain name instead of an IP which makes things easier for your friends.

Each Channel will have their own subscription fee.

If you want to sub to both, you'll have to pay a fee for each.

Granted, the fee (for LMG at least) is very low, at $2.99/month for now, or $29.99/year.

If you go onto the LTT Store and buy a FPC subscription, you're only buying a LMG FPC subscription. Hence the recent change to "LMG Pilot" tag for subscribers.

If you can, try to move the router to the first floor, it will help significantly and is technically free! I did it with my Asus RT-AC68u router and centrally located it in my house. It hides behind a chair so no one sees it.

Router or wireless access point/router?  If you need wifi without any special configuration needs then I can agree with this guy on the C9:

It is an easy setup and provides good speed and reliability, especially for the price. However, it does lack some advanced configuration features that most people won't know how to use anyway, but it was an issue for me.  It also has a pretty bad parental control implementation if that is relevant to you.

I work retail in a tech store so I have a lot to talk about, but my favorite was the other day.  A family came in wanting an Ethernet cable so I showed them where they were.  They refused to purchase any because they said none of them would work, when I asked why I was told they needed a yellow cable and other colors won't work.  They insisted that they tested other colored cables and that no Ethernet cable would work except their yellow one.  Even after I tried explaining that the color doesn't matter and that it was the same cable on the inside.

Welcome to the Twilight Zone... Where the community standards do not quite align themselves perfectly with opinions and motives of the administration, but nonetheless must be upheld because of complicated legal matters.

I personally agree its a bit... "c'mon now guys, really?" But to build a hackintosh (incl. installation of software) you are technically breaking a EULA, and since you don't technically 'own' the software going in,you are actually breaking a law by installing it on a machine not branded and sold by apple. As with all illegal activities in NA, it's a forbidden place here on the forums. This is a gray zone in the CS certainly though.

just for kicks, i through together an identically specced pc for cheaper than the "sale price" with higher quality components. To be entirely honest, i would not use a liquid cooler, an air cooler would have been cheaper and similar performance for a single rad, and you would be able to save more money by using a non z170 board, which I'm sure the prebuilt doesn't use.
